Why Do I Get a Message After Installation Saying that the Workstation Is Not Configured To Run On The EME Network?

After installation of the EMCenter and when running the system for the first time you may see the message …

This occurs because during the installation of the EMCenter you were prompted to enter the EMCenter client name.

The information is then stored in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\STI\\SETTINGS CLIENT_NAME.

In order for the EMCenter client to them be able to run and be allowed to access the system a corresponding entry with the same name must be configured in the “Workstations” section of the admin configuration window.
